Internship - Marketing / SEO Assistant (Starting January 2024 and June 2024)
In order to complete our UK/US market, GlobeSailor is looking for a Marketing Assistant intern, to help in developing Marketing strategy on UK and US market by joining our Web Marketing team.
Your mission:
Under the responsibility of the UK/US Country Manager and closely working with the WebMarketing Director and the Trraffic manager, your mission will be the creation and implementation of content for the English version of the website.
Creating strategic marketing plans
Competitor analysis
Creating SEO Content for the website
SEO / SEM optimization (Adwords) with creation and translation of texts.
Working with different organizations in the Yachting industry and Sailing magazines on different projects.
Blog and Social Media accounts animation (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,...)
The exchange of content with third parties (exchange of links)
Weekly Newsletter creation
Animating our community (boating, yachting, travel).
Your content will not only serve the natural SEO of the site, but it will also make the brand known through the various media channels online.
Your required skills and profile:
STUDENTS ONLY - Current College or University students (Business school, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Literature, University course ...)
You are "connected", have experience in sailing and know the sailing industry, you master social networks, blogs, SEO, SEM.
You enjoy the world of traveling and/or sailing.
You possess good knowledge of the MS Office Pack, Photoshop, (Video editing skill is a plus), MailChimp (or a similar tool), Google AdWords, Google Analytics, SEO optimization, you like to write.
Perfect written expression, perfect spelling.
Creativity, team spirit, and initiative.
Photoshop Skills desired or inDesign or similar photo editing tool
Languages skills :
English: 100% fluent (C2 level, in written and oral)
Another European language would be welcome
Contract: Internship contract or alternance training (The apprenticeship contract)
Starts: Early January 2024 (internship duration: 6 months)

Salary: 700 EUR Gross per month

Internship - Charter Advisor (Sales) January - June 2024 and March - August 2024

GlobeSailor offers a complete cruise-related service for its international clientele in seven languages: private, crewed or cabin rental, flights and transfers, hotels, and numerous additional services. In order to complete our English speaking sales team, GlobeSailor is looking for a motivated student, 100% fluent in English (C2 level in written and oral) to assist our company in developing business on UK and US market by joining our US/UK Booking/Sales team in our Paris office.
Job description:
As part of the sales team and under the responsibility of the Country Manager of the English-speaking market, you will be in direct contact with clients and boat rental partners and will be able to quickly manage your own client portfolio. After a brief training and introduction to our products and services, you will join the Booking/Sales team.

Under the management of Sales Director and the Country manager, your main tasks will be:
· Bookings and Client Support
· Negotiation with our yacht charter providers
· Reservations and post-booking management
· Ensure a quality follow-up with our customers from their reservation to their embarkation
· Working closely with your sales teams
· Retaining customers and monitoring their satisfaction
· Management of possible complaints and reimbursements
Activities and tasks:
· Sending the documents to clients necessary for their cruise (boarding document, invoices, contracts, etc.)
· Discussing with shipowners and local receptive agencies
· Ensuring proper reservation dossier management
· Responding to any questions from customers before boarding
· Advising customers on their administrative and insurance procedures
· Management of reservation cancellations or modifications
Internal and external relations In-house with the services:
· Sales Department
· Accountancy
· Boat rental companies / Shipowners
· Local operators
· Tour operators
Profile:
Bachelor’s degree student (Business school, university course), end-of-study internship
M/F motivated and autonomous, you want to have commercial responsibilities within a fast-growing company.
You are currently a student, autonomous, curious,100% fluent in English (C2 level in written and oral) and are passionate about all web-marketing tools.
You have a similar experience in tourism or web-oriented company or in customer support, retail, sales, hospitality, server, hostess...
An experience/background/interest in the sailing industry would be a plus.
You’re dynamic, motivated, competitive, and willing to join an ambitious project. You’re also rigorous, curious, with strong web knowledge and the ability to inspire others.
You like to travel, or to sail and to be in touch with people by phone
Language skills:
- English: Native Speaker / 100% fluent in English (C2 level in written and oral)
- Another European language would be welcome
Software skills:
- Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Recruitment Process: Video interview via MS Teams
Job Type: Internship
Start: 1 position available for start on early January 2024 and another position with start date on 4th of March (6 month duration)
Contract: 6-month internship + possibility of a regular contract at the end of the internship.
Work hours: Monday to Friday (9:30h - 17:30h) - Some Saturdays will be worked in exchange for recuperation days in the week after.
Salary: fixed salary 700 EUROS Gross per month + attractive commission per month on achieved results, a student can double their fixed salary.

In order to meet the new expectations of our internal, customer and professional interfaces, you will contribute to the development of our new API, the central pillar of GlobeSailor.
You will work directly with the CTO and join the 3-person product team that addresses issues arising from the e-commerce ecosystem (CRM, product catalogue, partner synchronization, etc).
You will be close to the "strategic" life of the company and will have an impact on the evolution of the services we offer.
