Itinerary

Map

You will navigate between the history-laden landscapes of Spain and Portugal, two countries with very diverse architectural and cultural heritage. During your cruise you will stop in mythical cities (Seville, Monchique, Cadiz...), whose buildings have been influenced by many civilizations.

DAY 1: Malaga (Spain)
The captain will meet you at the port at 15:00. After boarding, the crew will serve you a welcome drink. It will be the perfect opportunity to get to know the other passengers. You will then be invited to the restaurant to enjoy your first meal of local specialties. Night at the quay.

DAY 2: Malaga (Spain)
We offer an optional day trip to discover Granada. Influenced over the centuries by many cultures (Carthaginian, Romanesque, Muslim...), this Andalusian city will show you its most beautiful monuments. You will pass by the legendary Alhambra Palace, built in the 14th century under the Nasrid dynasty. Its name which comes from the Arabic "Al Hamra" and means "the red", refers perfectly to the color of the stones of the building. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will be amazed by the splendour of its gardens. Your tour of the city will continue to the Cathedral of Granada, with its Gothic and Baroque architecture. After some free time, you will return to the boat. Dinner and overnight in the port.

DAY 3: Malaga - Porto Banus - Gibraltar
The crew cast off to reach the Porto Banus marina. On arrival, you will have the possibility to visit Ronda (optional). This city, known as the cradle of bullfighting, was built on the top of a mountain, offering an unforgettable panoramic view. You will discover the charm of its old town, its incredible overlooking bridge, the Tajo gorge and its famous bullring that can accommodate up to 5000 people. Your excursion will end with the visit of a convent of the 16th century. You will be back on the boat for lunch. Take advantage of your free afternoon to jump into the water from the swimming platform and refresh yourself. In the early evening the ship will set course for Gibraltar (late arrival). Dinner at sea and overnight at the quayside.

DAY 4: Gibraltar - Bolonia or Arroyo Beach
This morning, excursion (optional) to Gibraltar. A bus will drop you off at the top of the Rock, situated 426 meters above sea level. Don't forget your camera to capture this breathtaking view! Your visit continues inside the Rock, where you will stroll among the countless stalagmites and stalactites that line the limestone cave of St. Michael. You will then walk through the rock tunnels dug during the Second World War. At the end of the tour, you'll return to Main Street for a stroll and shopping. Around noon, the boat will set sail again for Seville. During the crossing, you will take refreshing swimming breaks. Dinner and overnight at sea.

DAY 5 : Seville
Today you are sailing on the Guadalquivir River, whose mouth is located west of the Strait of Gibraltar. Your arrival in Seville is scheduled for around 12:00 noon. After lunch, you will be able to take part in a new excursion (optional) to discover the capital of Andalusia and its artistic heritage. Your guide will take you through a maze of streets in search of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Seat and its famous minaret la Giralda, the Royal Palace of Alcázar and its sumptuous Andalusian gardens and the Park of Maria Luisa. You will then be free to explore the city as you wish. Dinner and overnight at the port.

DAY 6 : Seville - Jerez de la Frontera - Cadiz
Day trip (optional), to explore Seville and Jerez de la Frontera. The latter is especially known for its vineyards, horse breeding and traditional Flamenco. The old quarter of Jerez de la Frontera will reveal its most beautiful architectural heritage: the El Savador Cathedral built in the 17th century, the Alcázar (Castle) and its walls. Your journey then continues to Cadiz, a port city nestled on a peninsula. The ship and the passengers who have not taken part in the excursion will meet you directly there (departure from Seville at 8.30 pm). You will join the ship in the evening. Night at sea.

DAY 7: Portimao (Portugal)
You dock in Portimao around noon. We propose a new excursion (optional) that will allow you to visit Silves and Monchique. Once the capital of the Algarve, Silves is a historical town that was built in the 13th century. After crossing the walls, you will stop in front of the sumptuous Moorish castle, built in red sandstone. You will also be fascinated by its cathedral built on the site of a Moorish mosque. During your tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibitions in the archaeological museum. You will then head to Monchique, a small mountain town perched at an altitude of 450 metres. You will appreciate the architecture of its simple houses and their colourful windows and doors. Return to Portimao for the Captain's dinner. Night at the port.

DAY 8 : Portimao - Lisbon
You disembark at 08:30 and take a seat on a bus that will take you to Lisbon. The driver will drop you off in front of a hotel (the name will be given to you later) in the city around 12.30. Do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to extend your stay in Lisbon.

Important: On some dates the cruise is proposed in the direction Lisbon - Malaga. In this case, you will have an appointment at 13:00 in Lisbon and will disembark in Malaga around 09:00.
