Your Boat

Boat

Welcome aboard your Sun Loft 47, a 14-metre long and nearly 5-metre wide monohull built in 2019! Designed by Jeanneau, this boat is described as "monocat". Indeed, it offers a higher level of comfort and living space than monohulls of similar size. Its cockpit, which can be fitted out as desired, can accommodate all guests on its two tables, which will then be transformed into sunbathing areas. The open kitchen is equipped with a plancha, ideal for enjoying delicious dishes. The swimming platform located at the back of the boat will allow you to dive safely into the Mediterranean sea.

Itinerary

Map

Southern Corsica is home to many treasures both on land and at sea. You will explore some of the most incredible sites such as: Bonifacio, a historical monument; the granite islands of Lavezzi; the Gulf of Valinco and the beautiful city of Propriano.

DAY 1: Ajaccio - Portigliolo (about 1h15)
Meet in the port of Ajaccio for boarding at 16:00. You will be welcomed by your skipper and will discover your cabin. Around 6pm, you will cast off and sail in the bay of Ajaccio to reach Portigliolo. After dropping anchor, it will be time to go ashore to savour some local specialities. Dinner at leisure and overnight at anchor.

DAY 2: Portigliolo - Cala d'Orzu - Campomoro (about 4h)
Sailing to the beautiful beach of Orzu for lunch. You will appreciate the calm of this little wild spot nested in the hollow of the Muru and Neru capes. You will then sail back to Campomoro, a village located in the south of the gulf which has kept its charm and authenticity. At the bend of a walk on the point, you will discover the Genoese tower of Campomoro, erected in the 15th century. At 15 metres high, it is the largest tower in Corsica and offers an exceptional panoramic view. Dinner at leisure and night at anchor.

DAY 3: Campomoro - Gulf of Murtoli - Pianottoli Caldarello (about 4h)
You set sail for Senetosa and its famous lighthouse. The latter consists of two turrets: the first is equipped with a white lantern and the second with red lights that illuminate dangerous areas. You will have lunch in the Gulf of Murtoli and anchor in Pianottoli-Caldarello at the end of the day. This small village with typical Corsican architecture is overhung by the headland of the Omu di Cagna. What if you try dishes based on figatellu (sausage) or brocciu (goat's or sheep's cheese) for your dinner? Night at anchor.

DAY 4: Pianottoli Caldarello - Archipelago of the Lavezzi Islands - Bonifacio (about 4h)
Your journey continues to the Lavezzi Islands. There are 8 of them, forming a bewitching and protected archipelago which notably watch over the safeguard of the "ash shearwaters". This species of seabird particularly appreciates the hollow rocks present on these islands. On Lavezzu Island, you will find monuments paying homage to the victims of the French frigate Sémillante, which was damaged nearby in 1855. At the end of the afternoon, you will see the impressive limestone cliffs on which the fortified town of Bonifacio was built. Free time for dinner.

DAY 5: Bonifacio - Anse de Roccapina - Tizzano (about 3h)
Let yourself be charmed by Bonifacio and its historic buildings. The King of Aragon Staircase with 187 steps (built by hand in 1420), the Gothic church of St. Dominic and the marine cemetery are among the must-see attractions. The patrol paths will also offer you a change of scenery. The skipper will hoist the sails in the morning to reach the cove of Roccapina. This cove is overlooked by the legendary stone lion that watches over the bay. You set sail again in the direction of Tizzano. You will discover a peaceful village, ideal for relaxing and sipping a cocktail in front of the sea. Free time for dinner and overnight at anchor.

DAY 6: Tizzano - Anse d'Arana - Porto Pollo (or Propriano) (about 3h)
After breakfast, you will have free time to stroll through the streets of Tizzano or lie down in the shade of a pine tree. Lunch in the Anse d'Arana, then on to Porto Pollo. Take advantage of this crossing along the coast to relax or take out your camera. Located at the bottom of the Gulf of Valinco, Porto Pollo is a village on a human scale. Its clear water is ideal for relaxing, swimming or exploring the seabed. Dinner at leisure and overnight at anchor.

DAY 7 : Porto Pollo (or Propriano) - Anse de Cacao - Ajaccio (about 4h)
You're sailing to Ajaccio. You'll make a stopover in Cacao cove for lunch. You will take the opportunity to jump in the water and explore the seabed. You will then sail back to Ajaccio, Napoleon Bonaparte's birthplace, and touch down at the end of the afternoon. Your free time will allow you to visit the old town and its monuments (Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Cathedral, the Naporama Museum, the Place d'Austerlitz...). Free time for dinner and overnight at the quay.

DAY 8: Ajaccio
Your disembarkation is scheduled for 08:00.

Important: In case of bad weather conditions, your skipper will favour an itinerary towards the north of Corsica (example: from Ajaccio to the Nature Reserve of Scandola).

Your stops:

Ajaccio > Portigliolo > Cala d’Orzu > Campomoro > Golfe de Murtoli > Pianottoli Caldarello > Îles Lavezzi > Bonifacio > Tizzano > Porto Pollo/Propriano > Anse de Cacao > Ajaccio

The itinerary may be changed without prior notice due to technical or weather conditions
